About the Author

Larry Clark recently retired after fifty-one years in the scrap business. He started in the mail room, working for Commercial Metals Company. Over the years he has managed and run scrap yards, and also always buying and selling scrap. Every day he learned something new, new experiences, new people and more than a few disappointments. But that’s any business, he says. This book, The Weighs & Means of Scrap is truly what Larry is about. Now his passion is to teach others how to be good scrap buyers and traders.
